CV norms

Should you put your picture on your CV, as my friend Conny Wunsch has done?

When I worked in private industry, I found that non-US citizens would often include in their resumes things such as pictures, date of birth, "general health", and marital status. This would irritate our HR group, as they had to redact information not legally usable in a hiring decision or face the inevitable EEOC lawsuit.
