The "math" shown under the check is wrong. The exponent for e is not 2 x pi, it is i x pi, i being the imaginary operator. The value of e raised to the i x pi exponent is equal to -1. So, the total addition is 0.002 + (-1) + 1 = 0.002 dollars, a paltry sum indeed!
