A long pondered but only lately realized blog about economics, politics, evaluation, econometrics, academia, college football and whatever else comes to mind.
I know the Forbes guy says they do, but the NSF does not give that definition of "geek" anywhere in the report, as far as I can find it. Maybe his editor changed it or he just got carried away, but if you look through the tables or do any number of searches that either ask for results from site:nsf.gov or that exclude "Forbes" or that author's last name, "Pentland," nothing relevant comes up.
I mean, I could always be wrong and missing it, but I'm pretty sure it's just not there.
